Remove

  1. Disconnect the LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
  2. Remove the LH 3rd row seat cushion bolster. See GUID-ED915A40-010C-4826-8D6D-849C92344E94.html.
  3. Remove the 3rd row seat back panel. See GUID-A2DF2EE5-7848-4F24-AAC7-1AFC9FB9E0DC.html.
  4. Remove and discard the bolt that attaches the 3rd row LH seat belt retractor to the seat frame.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Socket 3/8in Dr. 6pt. Std. x 11mm
  5. Disconnect the connectors (x2), remove the location clips (x2) and tabs (x2), then pry the seatbelt and recliner escutcheons away from the seat.
  6. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the seat back frame to the seat back cushion.

    • BIT, HEX, T20 TORX, TAMPER RESISTANT
  7. Release the clips (x4) and tabs (x2) that attach the seat back cushion to the seat back frame, then pull both sides of the cushion up and away from the frame.

    Use pliers to press and push the clips inward.

    Note
    Carefully maneuver the seatbelt from the seat.
  8. Unhook the trim hooks (x8), disengage the lateral trim retainers (x2), then disengage the lower trim retainers (x4) to fully release the soft trim cover from the seat back cushion.

Install

  1. Engage the lower trim retainers (x4), engage the lateral trim retainers (x2), then re-hook the trim hooks (x8) to properly install the soft trim cover onto the seat back cushion.
  2. Insert the tabs (x2) over the seat back frame, then push the clips (x4) into the frame to install the LH 3rd row seat back cushion.

    Note
    Maneuver the seatbelt through the seat before re-engaging the cushion onto the frame.
  3. Install the bolts (x3) that attach the seat back frame to the seat back cushion.

    • BIT, HEX, T20 TORX, TAMPER RESISTANT
  4. Connect the connectors (x2), then engage the tabs (x2) and push the location clips (x2) in to properly seat the seatbelt and recliner escutcheons.
  5. Install a new bolt that attaches the 3rd row LH seat belt retractor to the seat frame.
    37 Nm (27.3 lbs-ft)

  6. Install the 3rd row seat back panel. See GUID-A2DF2EE5-7848-4F24-AAC7-1AFC9FB9E0DC.html.
  7. Install the LH 3rd row seat cushion bolster. See GUID-ED915A40-010C-4826-8D6D-849C92344E94.html.
  8. Connect the LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
