Remove

  1. Remove the 3rd row LH seat cushion bolster. See GUID-ED915A40-010C-4826-8D6D-849C92344E94.html.
  2. Remove and discard the bolt that attaches the 3rd row LH seat belt retractor to the seat frame.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Socket 3/8in Dr. 6pt. Std. x 11mm
  3. Remove the 3rd row LH headrest closeout panel. See .
  4. Release the clips (x2) that attach the 3rd row LH seat shoulder switch to the seat assembly, then disconnect the connector to remove the switch.
  5. Remove the 3rd row LH seat escutcheon. See GUID-4DA8DD47-53D6-41E0-BF1D-E96F3448A854.html.
  6. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the 3rd row LH backrest to the seatback.

    • SKT, 1/4" DR, HEX BIT, T25 TORX
  7. Release the tabs (x2) and clips (x4) that attach the 3rd row LH backrest to the seatback, then remove the backrest from the seatback.
  8. Release the tabs (x26) that attach the 3rd row LH seatback trim cover to the seatback substrate.

Install

  1. Secure the tabs (x26) that attach the 3rd row LH seatback trim cover to the seatback substrate.

  2. Secure the tabs (x2) and clips (x4) that attach the 3rd row LH backrest to the seatback.
  3. Install the bolts (x2) that attach the 3rd row LH backrest to the seatback.
    2.5 Nm (1.8 lbs-ft)

  4. Install the 3rd row LH seat escutcheon. See GUID-4DA8DD47-53D6-41E0-BF1D-E96F3448A854.html.
  5. Connect the electrical connector, then secure the clips (x2) that attach the 3rd row LH seat shoulder switch to the seat assembly.
  6. Install the 3rd row LH headrest closeout panel. See .
  7. Install a new bolt that attaches the 3rd row LH seat belt retractor to the seat frame.
    37 Nm (27.3 lbs-ft)
