Charge Port - Assembly Charge Port Controller ECU Gen 4 (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Open the LH rear door and lower the LH rear window.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Trim - Rear Apron Assembly (Remove and Install).
- Disconnect MV power. See Disconnect MV Power.
- Remove the LH 2nd row seat outboard bolster. See 2nd Row Seat Assemblies - 2R Seat Side Bolster LH (Remove and Install).

Disconnect the electrical connectors
(x3) from the charge port ECU.

Remove the bolt that attaches the
charge port ECU to the vehicle, and then remove the ECU from the vehicle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 8 mm socket
Install

Position the charge port ECU into the
vehicle, and then install the bolt that attaches the ECU to the vehicle.NoteAlign the charge port ECU into the cavity for installation.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 8 mm socket

Connect the electrical connectors (x3)
to the charge port ECU.
- Install the LH 2nd row seat outboard bolster. See 2nd Row Seat Assemblies - 2R Seat Side Bolster LH (Remove and Install).
- Reconnect MV power. See Disconnect MV Power.
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Trim - Rear Apron Assembly (Remove and Install).
- Raise the LH rear window and close the LH rear door.
- Connect a laptop with Toolbox to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
- In Toolbox, click the Actions tab, and then search for "Service-Redeploy".
- Click SERVICE CAN REDEPLOY, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- Disconnect Toolbox and remove the laptop from the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
