Front Center Applique Assembly (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install).
  3. Remove the frunk assembly. See Frunk Assembly (Remove and Install).
  4. Release the tabs (x8) that attach the center applique to the vehicle, disconnect the release trigger electrical connector, and then remove the applique from the vehicle.
    Note
    Release the upper 4 tabs by pushing down on the applique, and then gently pulling the applique away from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Position the center applique into the vehicle, connect the release trigger electrical connector, and then secure the tabs (x8) that attach the applique to the vehicle.
    Note
    Make sure all tabs are engage.
  2. Install the frunk assembly. See Frunk Assembly (Remove and Install).
  3. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install).
  4. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
