False Wall - Bed (Long Range) (Remove and Install)

  • 2026-02-26: Released new procedure.
  1. Open the tailgate.
  2. Remove the bed floor. See Bed Floor Assembly (Long Range) (Remove and Install).
  3. Remove the LH sail applique. See Sail Applique - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the LH upper bed side wall. See Bed Side Wall Assembly - Upper - LH (Remove and Install).
  5. Remove LH rear bed closeout. See Bed Closeout - Rear - LH (Remove and Install).
  6. Remove LH lower bed side wall
    Note
    2x bolt, 15mm, 25 Nm, 4x bolts, 10mm, 11 Nm, 4x nuts, 10mm, 10 Nm, 1x connector, 4x L track fastener covers
  7. Repeat step 3 through step 6 for the RH side of the vehicle.
  8. Remove RH bed side wall
    Note
    2x bolt, 15mm, 25 Nm, 4x bolts, 10mm, 11 Nm, 4x nuts, 10mm, 10 Nm, 1x connector, 4x L track fastener covers
  9. Remove false wall
    Note
    2x bolts, 15mm, 45 Nm. Recommended to use assistance
  10. Install false wall
    Note
    2x bolts, 15mm, 45 Nm. Recommended to use assistance
  11. Install RH bed side wall
    Note
    2x bolt, 15mm, 25 Nm, 4x bolts, 10mm, 11 Nm, 4x nuts, 10mm, 10 Nm, 1x connector, 4x L track fastener covers
  12. Install RH rear bed closeout. See Bed Closeout - Rear - LH (Remove and Install).
  13. Install the RH upper bed side wall. See Bed Side Wall Assembly - Upper - LH (Remove and Install).
  14. Install the RH sail applique. See Sail Applique - LH (Remove and Replace).
  15. Repeat step 11 through step 14 for the LH side of the vehicle.
  16. Install the bed floor. See Bed Floor Assembly (Long Range) (Remove and Install).
