Front Lights (Excluding Headlamps) - Front Lightbar (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Remove the powergate fascia assembly. See Closure Panels - Assembly - Powergate Fascia (Remove and Install).
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector, and then remove the nuts (x2) and bolts (x2) that attach the lightbar to the powergate.
  3. Pull the lightbar forward to release the clips (x3) and datums (x3) to remove it from the vehicle.

    Note
    Make sure the harness does not get caught during removal.

Install

  1. Position the lightbar onto the powergate, and then secure the clips (x3) and datums (x3).

    CAUTION
    Make sure the harness does not get pinched during installation.

    Note
    Push the lightbar rearwards to engage the clips.
  2. Install the nuts (x2) and bolts (x2) that attach the lightbar to the powergate, and then connect the electrical connector.
    3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)

    Note
    The nuts are torqued to 3 Nm and the bolts are torqued to 4 Nm.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  3. Install the powergate fascia assembly. See Closure Panels - Assembly - Powergate Fascia (Remove and Install).
