Truck Bed - Bed Floor Assembly (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Open the tonneau cover.
  2. Open the tailgate.
  3. Remove the fastener covers (x10) from the bed floor assembly.
  4. With assistance, remove the bolts (x10 ) that attach the bed floor assembly to the vehicle, and then remove the assembly from the vehicle.
    56 Nm (41.3 lbs-ft)

    Note
    Lift the front edge with trim tool, and then remove the panel.

    CAUTION
    The bolts (x4) at the front of the vehicle are shorter than the middle and rear bolts. Note the bolt location when removing them from the vehicle.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 15 mm socket

Install

  1. With assistance, position the bed floor assembly into the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x10 ) that attach the assembly to the vehicle.
    56 Nm (41.3 lbs-ft)

    CAUTION
    Make sure the bolts (x4) at the front of the front of the assembly are shorter than the middle and rear bolts. Incorrectly installing the longer bolts at the front of the assembly may cause the tonneau cover to bind and may damage components.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 15 mm socket
  2. Install the fastener covers (x10) from the bed floor assembly.
  3. Close the tonneau cover.
  4. Close the tailgate.
