Headliner Trim - TCU Bracket (Remove and Install)

  1. Remove the front header trim. See Headliner Trim - Front Header Trim (Remove and Install).
  2. Disconnect the connectors (x2) from the telematics control unit, release the clips (x4) that attach the control unit to the header trim, and then remove the control unit from the assembly.

    Release the connector locks before disconnecting the connectors.
  3. Remove the screws (x2) that attach the telematics control unit bracket to the control unit, and then release the clips (x2) to remove the bracket from the control unit.
    3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T30 socket
  4. Position the telematics control unit bracket to the control unit, install the clips (x2) that attach the bracket to the control unit, and then install the screws (x2).
    3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T30 socket
  5. Position the telematics control unit assembly to the front header trim, connect the connectors (x2), and then secure the clips (x4) that attach the control unit to the header trim.
