2nd Row Seat Back Hardware - 2R Seat Underbelly RH (Remove and Install)

Warning
Cybertruck electronics are powered by a
48V "mid voltage" or "MV" architecture that is designed to improve efficiency. Servicing
MV components requires extra knowledge and care in order to avoid personal and/or
vehicular harm. Read and understand MV precautions in Electrical Precautions and make sure any
required MV-related training courses have been completed, as applicable.
Remove
- Open all the doors and lower all the windows.
- Move the LH and RH front seats fully forward.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Trim - Rear Apron Assembly (Remove and Install).
- Disconnect MV power. See Disconnect MV Power.
- Remove the RH mid A-pillar trim. See A-B-C Post Interior Trim - A-Pillar Mid Trim - LH (Remove and Install).
- Remove the RH upper A-pillar trim. See A-B-C Post Interior Trim - A-Pillar Upper Trim - LH (Remove and Install).
- Remove the RH cantrail trim. See Headliner Trim - Cantrail Trim - LH (Remove and Install).
- Remove the rear wall lower trim. See Passenger Compartment Carpet - End Item, Rear Wall Lower Trim, Soft Trim (Remove and Install).
- Fold the LH and RH 2nd row seats down.
- Remove the RH upper C-pillar trim. See A-B-C Post Interior Trim - C-Pillar Upper Trim - LH (Remove and Install).

Release the clips (x7) and datum that
attach the RH 2nd row shoulder cover to the vehicle, and then remove the cover from the
vehicle.
- Remove the RH 2nd row seat back outboard bolster. See 2nd Row Seat Assemblies - 2R Seat Side Bolster LH (Remove and Install).
- Remove the RH 2nd row seat back inboard bolster. See 2nd Row Seat Assemblies - 2R Seat Back Inboard Bolster LH (Remove and Install).

Remove the clip that attaches the RH
2nd row seat cushion release buckle strap guide to the vehicle, and then release the
guide from the vehicle.

Remove the bolts (x3) and clips (x4)
that attach the RH 2nd row seat back assembly to the vehicle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket

Lift the RH 2nd row seat back upwards and away from the seat frame, disconnect the
seat back electrical connector, and then remove the seat back from the vehicle.

Release the clip that attaches the RH
2nd row seat cushion outboard cover to the seat assembly, and then remove the cover from
the assembly.
NotePull outward from lower forward section to release.

Release the RH 2nd row seat cushion
from the underbelly.
NotePull plastic retainers outward to release from underbelly.

Release the clips (x4) that attach the
RH 2nd row seat underbelly to the seat cushion assembly, and then remove the underbelly
trim from the vehicle.
NotePull outwards from the bottom to release.
Install

Position the 2nd row seat cushion
underbelly onto the seat cushion assembly, and then engage the clips (x4).
NotePush inwards firmly to secure.

Push the plastic retainers into the
grooves to secure the LH 2nd row seat cushion to the underbelly.
NoteManipulate the material as needed to engage all the retainers.

Position the RH 2nd row seat cushion outboard cover to the seat assembly, and then
engage the clip that attaches the cover to the assembly.
NotePush inwards at bottom to secure.

Position the RH 2nd row seat back into the vehicle, and then connect the seat back
electrical connector and engage the connector lock.

Position the RH 2nd row seat back assembly into the seat frame, and then install the
bolts (x3) and clips (x4) that attach the seat back to the vehicle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket

Maneuver the RH 2nd row seat cushion
release buckle strap guide into position, and then install the clip that attaches the
guide to the vehicle.
NoteMake sure the strap is not twisted.
- Install the RH 2nd row seat back inboard bolster. See 2nd Row Seat Assemblies - 2R Seat Back Inboard Bolster LH (Remove and Install).
- Install the RH 2nd row seat back outboard bolster. See 2nd Row Seat Assemblies - 2R Seat Side Bolster LH (Remove and Install).

Position the RH 2nd row shoulder cover into the vehicle, and then engage the clips
(x7) and datum that attach the cover to the vehicle.
- Install the RH upper C-pillar trim. See A-B-C Post Interior Trim - C-Pillar Upper Trim - LH (Remove and Install).
- Install the rear wall lower trim. See Passenger Compartment Carpet - End Item, Rear Wall Lower Trim, Soft Trim (Remove and Install).
- Install the RH cantrail trim. See Headliner Trim - Cantrail Trim - LH (Remove and Install).
- Install the RH upper A-pillar trim. See A-B-C Post Interior Trim - A-Pillar Upper Trim - LH (Remove and Install).
- Install the RH mid A-pillar trim. See A-B-C Post Interior Trim - A-Pillar Mid Trim - LH (Remove and Install).
- Reconnect MV power. See Disconnect MV Power.
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Trim - Rear Apron Assembly (Remove and Install).
- Restore the LH and RH front seats back to their original position.
- Raise all the windows and close all the doors.
