SCUBA Valve Block Assembly (Remove and Install)

  1. Use the vehicle touchscreen to depressurize the TAS system. See Air Suspension - Pressurize / Depressurize - Full System (Test/Adjust).
  2. Remove the bed floor assembly. See Truck Bed - Bed Floor Assembly (Remove and Install).
  3. Release ANC air line from pressurized pack valve block

    1x VOSS fitting, 12mm, 8 Nm, Do not release air line to reservoir, Rapid loss of pressure will result if wrong air line is released
  4. Remove VOSS air fitting from ANC air line

    1x VOSS fitting, Slide threaded section back, Remove collet, Then slide threaded section off of air line, Discard after removal
  5. Release RES 2 air line from pressurized pack valve block

  6. Remove VOSS air fitting from RES 2 air line

    1x VOSS fitting, Slide threaded section back, Remove collet, Then slide threaded section off of air line, Discard after removal
  7. Remove pressurized pack valve block

    1x bolt, 10mm, 5 Nm, 1x connector, 2x datums
  8. Install pressurized pack valve block

  9. Install new VOSS air fitting onto RES 2 air line

    1x VOSS fitting, 10mm, 8 Nm, Do not remove VOSS plastic plug until pressurized pack line is installed
  10. Secure RES 2 air line onto pressurized pack valve block

    1x line, Remove plastic cap from VOSS fittings, Press air lines onto fitting until mark aligns with top of fitting, Verify line is properly secured by performing push and pull test
  11. Install new VOSS air fitting onto ANC air line

    1x VOSS fitting, 12mm, 8 Nm, Do not remove VOSS plastic plug until pressurized pack line is installed
  12. Secure ANC air line onto pressurized pack valve block

    1x line, Remove plastic cap from VOSS fittings, Press air lines onto fitting until mark aligns with top of fitting, Verify line is properly secured by performing push and pull test
  13. Install the bed floor assembly. See Truck Bed - Bed Floor Assembly (Remove and Install).
  14. Pressurize the TAS system but do not exit Service Mode. See Air Suspension - Pressurize / Depressurize - Full System (Test/Adjust).
  15. Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
  16. Click the Actions tab and search for "Pressurize".
  17. Click Tesla Air Suspension Pressurize HV Pack, click Run, and allow routine to complete.

    Select "X" at top right of window to close once complete, If reservoir air pressure is not ~16 bar then proceed to full system pressurize procedure, If pack is not able to maintain pressure post test then proceed to Pressurized Pack Not Holding Pressure inspection procedure, If pack is taking too long to pressurize then proceed to find leak
  18. Disconnect Toolbox and remove the laptop from the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
  19. Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  20. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
