Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Open the powered frunk.
  3. Remove the LH and RH beauty covers. See Exterior Trim Fittings - Lightbar Beauty Cover - LH (Remove and Install).
  4. Remove the powergate fascia. See Closure Panels - Assembly - Powergate Fascia (Remove and Install).
  5. Remove the nuts (x2) that attach the LH lightbar beauty cover bracket to the powergate, and then remove the bracket from the powergate.
    1.5 Nm (1.1 lbs-ft)

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket

Install

  1. Position the LH lightbar beauty cover bracket onto the powergate, and then install the nuts (x2) that attach the bracket to the powergate.
    1.5 Nm (1.1 lbs-ft)

  2. Install the powergate fascia. See Closure Panels - Assembly - Powergate Fascia (Remove and Install).
  3. Install the LH and RH beauty covers. See Exterior Trim Fittings - Lightbar Beauty Cover - LH (Remove and Install).
  4. Close the powered frunk.
  5. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
