Remove
- Open the LH doors and lower all the windows.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install).
- Disconnect MV power. See Mid-Voltage Power (Disconnect and Connect).

Remove the fastener that attaches the
LH rear door check strap to the vehicle.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T40 socket
- 10 mm socket

Release the grommet from the LH rear
door harness connector at the B-pillar, and pull back to expose the connector and
harness wires.

Apply gentle tension to the harness
wires, and use a pick to press down on the inner tang in the top half of the harness
connector.

Continue to apply gentle tension to
the harness wires, and use the pick to press up on the inner tang in the bottom half of
the harness connector, and then disconnect the harness from the B-pillar
connector.

With assistance, remove the nuts (x2)
that attach the LH rear door to the vehicle, and then remove the door from the
vehicle.
38 Nm (28.0 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 15 mm socket
Install

With assistance, position the LH rear
door to the vehicle, and then install the nuts (x2) that attach the door to the
vehicle.

Fasten the grommet to the LH rear door
harness connector, and then firmly press the harness to the B-pillar connector.
NotePerform a Push-Pull-Push check of the connector.

Install the fastener that attaches the
LH rear door check strap to the vehicle.
35 Nm (25.8 lbs-ft) - Reconnect MV power. See Mid-Voltage Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install).
- Open the powered frunk.
- Raise all the windows and close the LH doors.

Check the LH rear door gap and
flushness and adjust as necessary.
- Close the LH doors.
