- 2025-07-29: Released new procedure.
- Open the tailgate.
- Open the tonneau cover.
- Remove the tonneau applique. See Tonneau Applique (Remove and Install).
- Remove the roof glass rear edge seal.

Remove adhesive residue from roof glass rear edge
NoteUse 3M adhesive remover.NoteDo not remove net pads, Use adhesive remover and blade to roll adhesive, Make sure to wear proper PPE for cutting, Rubber gloves used in pictures for demonstration purposes only

Position roof glass rear edge seal
NoteDo not remove red backing, Apply tape as needed, Align seal with glass edge, Slightly tuck seal under glass

Adhere roof glass rear edge seal
NoteUse 3M adhesive promoter.NotePull red backing then spray adhesive promoter onto seal double-sided tape, Fully press seal in between glass and body, Remove tape as needed, Align seal with glass edge

Clean roof glass rear edge
NoteRemove any remaining adhesive promoter with adhesive remover
- Install the tonneau applique. See Tonneau Applique (Remove and Install).
- Close the tonneau cover.
- Close the tailgate.
