Recover
- Enable Service Mode. See Service Mode.
- Make sure that no external power source is connected to the jump post.
- Make sure that the high voltage system is supporting the mid voltage system. On the touchscreen, touch and make sure that the PCS Packside DCDC Support Status indicates Active.
- Make sure that the MV battery is properly connected. On the touchscreen, touch and make sure that the Li-ion MV Battery ECPA (Electrical Connector Position Assurance) status indicates Closed.
- Confirm that the Li-ion LV battery MOSFET status is Closed. On the touchscreen, touch and make sure that the Li-ion MV Battery MOSFET status indicates Closed (Green).
- If the MOSFET status is Open (Orange), the MV battery has not auto-recovered. To force the MOSFET to close, Perform the following routine using Service Mode or Toolbox (see 0005 - Service Modes):PROC_VCLEFT_X_RECONNECT-MV-BATTERYvia Toolbox: (link)via Service Mode: Mid Voltage ➜ Power Distribution ➜ Close MOSFET
- If the previous step does not successfully recover the battery, proceed with using a compatible Tesla Li-ion battery charger to recover the LV battery, and then repeat this procedure.
