Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install).

Remove the LH and RH bump stops
(x2).

Remove the bolt caps (2) and bolt
covers from the floor of the underhood storage unit, and then remove the bolts (x6) that
attach the underhood storage unit to the vehicle.12 Nm (8.8 lbs-ft)NoteDo not release the underhood storage unit from the vehicle as there is still a harness attached.NoteUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket

Remove the windshield washer fluid
cap.

Carefully and partially lift the LH
side of the underhood storage unit from the vehicle to gain access to the frunk switch
harness, and then disconnect the harness from the switch.
CAUTIONDo not lift the frunk assembly too much, as the electrical harness is still connected to the frunk.NoteThe green pin is not a locking mechanism and its removal is not required.

Release the underhood storage unit
from the vehicle, and then remove the underhood storage unit from the vehicle.
Install

Position the underhood storage unit
into the vehicle, and then connect the safety lock connector.

Install the windshield washer fluid
cap.

Install the bolts (x6) that attach the
underhood storage unit to the vehicle, and then install the bolt caps (2) and bolt
covers.12 Nm (8.8 lbs-ft)NoteUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket

Install the LH and RH bump stops
(x2).

- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
