Front and Rear Door Glass Regulator - Front Door LH Door Closeout Panel (Remove and Install)

Warning
Cybertruck electronics are powered by a
48V "mid voltage" or "MV" architecture that is designed to improve efficiency. Servicing
MV components requires extra knowledge and care in order to avoid personal and/or
vehicular harm. Read and understand MV precautions in Electrical Precautions and make sure any
required MV-related training courses have been completed, as applicable.
Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Place the vehicle into Service Mode. See Service Mode.
- Remove the LH front door trim panel. See Front Door Trim Pad - Door Trim Front - LH (Remove and Install).
- Remove the LH front door moving glass. See Door Glass - Moving Glass - Front LH (Remove and Install).
- Disconnect MV power. See Disconnect MV Power.

Release the clips (x4), disconnect the
harness connectors (x5), and then release the LH front door harness from the closeout
panel.

Remove the fasteners (x13) that attach
the LH front door closeout panel to the LH front door, release the harness clip and
locking datums (x2), and then remove the closeout panel from the door assembly.
NoteTake note of the location of the 8 mm and 10 mm bolts.NotePull the bottom of the closeout panel outwards, and then lower the assembly to allow for clearance for the regulator rails.NoteGently pry the closeout panel out to release the locking datums.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 8 mm socket
- 10 mm socket

Remove the bolts (x4) that attach the
LH front door window regulator to the closeout panel, and then remove the regulator from
the closeout panel.
NoteTake note of the bolt lengths and locations.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket
Install

Position the LH front door window
regulator to the closeout panel, and then install the bolts (x4) that attach the
regulator to the closeout panel.

- Torx T25 socket

Position the LH front door closeout
panel to the LH front door, secure the harness clip and locking datums (x2), and then
install the fasteners (x13) that attach the closeout panel to the door assembly.NoteThe 8mm bolts are torqued to 4 Nm and the 10mm bolts are torqued to 12 Nm.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 8 mm socket
- 10 mm socket

Connect the LH front door harness
connectors (x5), and then secure the clips (x4) that attach the harness to the LH front
door closeout panel..
- Reconnect MV power. See Disconnect MV Power.
- Install the LH front door moving glass. See Door Glass - Moving Glass - Front LH (Remove and Install).
- Install the LH front door trim panel. See Front Door Trim Pad - Door Trim Front - LH (Remove and Install).

Calibrate the LH front window.
NotePress and hold down the selected window for 15 seconds. Raise the window and hold for 15 seconds. Test window by hard pressing to verify auto raise/lower functions correctly.
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
