Door Trigger - Front Door - LH (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Remove the LH B-pillar applique. See Exterior Trim Fittings - B-Pillar Applique - LH (Remove and Install).
  2. Disconnect the connector, release the grommet that attaches the LH door trigger harness to the LH B-pillar applique, and then feed the harness through the applique opening.
  3. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH door trigger to the B-pillar applique, and then remove the door trigger through the front of the applique.
    3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket

Install

  1. Position the LH door trigger to the B-pillar applique, feed the harness through the front of the applique opening, and then install the bolts (x2) that attach the door trigger to the applique.
    3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket
  2. Feed the door trigger harness through the applique opening, secure the grommet, and then connect the electrical connector.
  3. Install the LH B-pillar applique. See Exterior Trim Fittings - B-Pillar Applique - LH (Remove and Install).
