- 2024-05-13: Updated part name from "steering column upper shroud" to "steering wheel upper shroud".
Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install).
- Disconnect MV power. See Mid-Voltage Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
- Remove the steering wheel. See Steering Wheel Pur Heated (Remove and Install)

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the
upper shroud to the steering wheel, and then use a trim tool to separate the shroud from
the steering wheel.
4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T20 socket
Install

Position the upper shroud onto the steering wheel, and then install the bolts (x2)
that attach the shroud to the steering wheel.
4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)NoteMake sure the guide datums are fully seated.TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T20 socket
- Install the steering wheel. See Steering Wheel Pur Heated (Remove and Install)
- Reconnect MV power. See Mid-Voltage Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install).
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
