Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Raise and support the vehicle on a 2 post lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.

Use the vehicle touchscreen to enable
Tow Mode.
NoteAllow drive rails to completely turn on before enabling.
- Remove the LH rear halfshaft. See Halfshaft - Rear Drive Unit - LH (Remove and Install).

Use a seal puller to remove the LH
rear halfshaft output seal.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Adjustable Seal Puller - 1454928-00-A
Install

Install the LH rear halfshaft output
seal to the seal driver, and then position the seal square to the rear drive unit
bore.
- Install the LH rear halfshaft. See Halfshaft - Rear Drive Unit - LH (Remove and Install).
- Use the vehicle touchscreen to exit Tow Mode.
- Remove the vehicle from the lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
