- 2025-02-26: Updated D-ring images to the correct orientation.
- Open the tailgate.
- Open the tonneau cover.

Remove the bolt covers (x4) from the bed
floor.
NoteDo not discard the bolt covers. Set the bolt covers aside and provide the covers to the customer once the D-rings have been installed.TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Plastic trim tool

Remove the bolts (x4) from the bed floor.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 15 mm socket

Position the D-rings (x4) into the bed
floor with the hinges on the outboard side of the vehicle, open the D-ring hinges, and
then install the bolts (x4) that attach the D-rings to the vehicle.56 Nm (41.3 lbs-ft)CAUTIONMakes sure the D-ring hinge is open when installing the bolts to avoid damage to the finish.NotePush the D-rings as far forward as possible when fastening to ensure the bed storage door does not contact the D-ring when opening.TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 15 mm socket
- Close the tailgate.
- Close the tonneau cover.
