Harness - FEM (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. On the touchscreen, touch Controls > Suspension > Very High to set the vehicle ride height to Very High.
  3. Put the vehicle in Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  4. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install).
  5. Disconnect MV power. See Disconnect MV Power.
  6. Remove the frunk assembly. See Frunk Assembly (Remove and Install).
  7. Remove the front fascia assembly. See Front Fascia (Remove and Install).
  8. Release the connector locks and disconnect the FEM harness electrical connectors (x3), release the harness clips (x4), and then pass the harness through the opening in the front end module to remove it from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Position FEM harness into the vehicle, connect the FEM harness electrical connectors (x3) and engage the connector locks, and secure the harness clips (x4).

  2. Install the front fascia assembly. See Front Fascia (Remove and Install).
  3. Install the frunk assembly. See Frunk Assembly (Remove and Install).
  4. Reconnect MV power. See Disconnect MV Power.
  5. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install).
  6. Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  7. On the touchscreen, touch Controls > Suspension > Standard to set the vehicle ride height to Standard.
  8. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
