Open LH front door
NotePush LH B-pillar door trigger to release
- Lower LH front window
-
Raise and support vehicle
NoteSet air suspension to "Jack Mode"
- Run ODIN routine PROC_ICE_X_ENTER-SERVICE-MODEvia Toolbox: (link)

Open tailgate
NotePress button to release

Open powered front trunk
NoteVia exterior switch or UI
-
Power down vehicle via UI
NoteVerify EPBs are engaged, Select charge port icon to ensure drive state is disengaged then power down vehicle via Controls > Safety > Power Off

Remove rear underhood apron
Note9x clips
-
Disconnect FRL connector then disconnect MV battery connector
Note2x connectors, Release locking tab then disconnect FRL connector, Slide eCPA to left then lift lever to release MV battery connector, Early production trucks may have black FRL connector, Release eCPA by pushing down to unlock and slide red locking tab, Wait 2 minutes for electrical circuits to discharge before disconnecting modules

Remove fastener covers from bed floor assembly

Remove bed floor assembly
Note10x short bolts, 15mm, 56 Nm, 2x long bolts, 15mm, 46Nm, Lift front edge with trim tool then remove panel, Recommend assistance

Remove LH rear wheel cap
Note1x cap, 8x clips, Use both hands to firmly pull wheel cap to release clips, Cap may remove with or without mounting ring attached

Loosen LH rear wheel nuts
Note6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm

Remove RH rear wheel cap
Note1x cap, 8x clips, Use both hands to firmly pull wheel cap to release clips, Cap may remove with or without mounting ring attached

Loosen RH rear wheel nuts
Note6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm
-
Raise vehicle partially and lower onto locks
NoteSet vehicle to comfortable working height, Make sure there's an audible click of the locks on both sides before lowering, otherwise vehicle may tilt to the side

Remove RH rear wheel
Note6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm

Remove bolt securing RH rear tie rod to rear steering actuator
Note1x bolt, 18 mm, 180 Nm
-
Remove RH rear toe link from RH rear knuckle
Note1x nut, 21mm, 170 Nm, Counter hold ball joint, Discard nyloc nut after removal

Remove LH rear wheel
Note6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm
-
Remove LH rear toe link from rear steering actuator
Note1x bolt, 18 mm, 180 Nm
-
Remove LH rear toe link from LH rear knuckle
Note1x nut, 21mm, 170 Nm, Counter hold ball joint, Discard nyloc nut after removal

Lower vehicle partially and set lift onto locks
NoteRaise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered, Set vehicle to comfortable working height

Disconnect rear steering actuator connector
Note1x connector, Release locking tab, 1x harness clip, Place harness aside for access

Remove bolts securing RH side of rear steering actuator onto rear subframe
Note2x bolt, 18 mm, 120 Nm
-
Remove bolts securing LH side of rear steering actuator to rear subframe
Note2x bolt, 18 mm, 120 Nm
-
Remove rear steering actuator from vehicle
NoteRotate rear steering actuator onto side and pivot to the left side to release actuator out from rear subframe, Use caution when removing rear steering actuator from rear subframe, Avoid damaging any HV cable, body harness and ride height sensor

Position rear steering actuator into vehicle for installation
NoteRotate rear steering actuator onto side, Insert the right side of steering actuator to position onto rear subframe, Use caution when installing rear steering actuator onto rear subframe, Avoid damaging any HV cable, body harness and ride height sensor

Install bolts securing LH side of rear steering actuator to rear subframe
Note2x bolt, 18 mm, 120 Nm

Install bolts securing RH side of rear steering actuator to rear subframe
Note2x bolt, 18 mm, 120 Nm

Install rear steering actuator connector
Note1x connector, Secure locking tab, 1x harness clip, Position harness into place for installation

Connect FRL connector then connect MV battery connector
Note2x connectors, Connect FRL connector then secure locking tab, Position lever to secure MV battery connector then slide eCPA to right, Early production trucks may have black FRL connector, If power cycling vehicle then ensure at least 60 seconds has passed since powering down

Perform software reinstall
NoteVia UI > Service Mode > Software Reinstall > CAN ECU > Reinstall, Reinstall will begin immediately, Once firmware redeploy is complete, Verify release notes are present via UI

Select "Install Now" to start firmware update
NoteTap center display next to software update window until clock runs down to 0,After displayed installation time, Check the center display and ensure the firmware package was successfully installed

Once firmware redeploy is complete, Verify release notes are present on center display
NoteIf the redeploy fails you may receive an error message on UI

Install bed floor assembly
Note10x short bolts, 15mm, 56 Nm, 2x long bolts, 15mm, 46Nm, Recommend assistance

- Close tailgate

Position LH rear toe link onto rear steering actuator
Note1x bolt, 18 mm, Hand tight, Torque at later step

Install LH rear toe link onto LH rear knuckle
Note1x nut, 21mm, 170 Nm, Install new Nyloc nut

Position RH rear toe link onto rear steering actuator
Note1x bolt, 18 mm, Hand tight, Torque at later step
-
Install RH rear toe link onto RH rear knuckle
Note1x nut, 21mm, 170 Nm, Install new Nyloc nut
- Position and raise pole jack onto LH rear lower control arm

Adjust LH rear suspension to ride height specification
NoteMeasure from wheel housing stud to stabar link mount, Distance should be 31.8 cm, Adjust pole jack as needed

Torque bolt securing LH rear toe link to rear steering actuator
Note1x bolt, 18 mm, 180 Nm
- Lower and remove pole jack from LH rear lower control arm
- Position and raise pole jack onto RH rear lower control arm

Adjust RH rear suspension to ride height specification
NoteMeasure from wheel housing stud to stabar link mount, Distance should be 31.8 cm, Adjust pole jack as needed

Torque bolt securing RH rear toe link to rear steering actuator
Note1x bolt, 18 mm, 180 Nm
- Lower and remove pole jack from RH rear lower control arm

Install LH rear wheel
Note6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm

Install RH rear wheel
Note6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm

Lower vehicle until tires are touching the ground
NoteRaise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered

Torque RH rear wheel nuts
Note6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm, Use star pattern

Torque LH rear wheel nuts
Note6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm, Use star pattern

Install LH rear wheel cap
Note1x cap, 8x clips, Partially secure wheel cap to wheel, While partially installed wheel cover can be rotated to align with tire design, When aligned press inward from center of cap then secure all clips to mounting ring

Install RH rear wheel cap
Note1x cap, 8x clips, Partially secure wheel cap to wheel, While partially installed wheel cover can be rotated to align with tire design, When aligned press inward from center of cap then secure all clips to mounting ring

Connect FRL connector then connect MV battery connector
Note2x connectors, Connect FRL connector then secure locking tab, Position lever to secure MV battery connector then slide eCPA to right, Early production trucks may have black FRL connector, If power cycling vehicle then ensure at least 60 seconds has passed since powering down

Install rear underhood apron
Note9x clips, Adjust windshield seal as required

Close powered front trunk
NoteVia exterior switch or UI

Remove vehicle from lift
NoteLower rack arms fully and remove them from under vehicle, Remove air suspension from "Jack Mode"
- Run ODIN routine PROC_ICE_X_EXIT-SERVICE-MODEvia Toolbox: (link)
- Raise LH front window
- Close LH front door
- Review wheel alignment requirements and add correction code as needed
