Undertray - Rear Aeroshield (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  3. Remove the bolts (x7) that attach the rear aeroshield to the vehicle, and then slide the rear aeroshield from under mid aeroshield to remove it from the vehicle.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket

Install

  1. Position the rear aeroshield to the vehicle, slide the rear aeroshield under the mid aeroshield and into position, and then install the bolts (x7) that attach it to the vehicle.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)

    Apply Loctite 222 to the fasteners before installation.

  2. Remove the vehicle from the lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  3. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
