CAUTION
Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) components can be hazardous if not serviced and handled correctly. See Airbag and Supplementary Restraint System (SRS) Precautions
CAUTION
In the event of an airbag or seatbelt pretensioner deployment, certain components must be replaced, and other components must be inspected for damage. Refer to the Collision Repair Manual for a specific list of items that must be inspected and replaced.

Remove

  1. Remove the rear wall lower trim. See Trim - Lower - Rear Wall (Remove and Install).
  2. Disconnect the 2nd row center/RH buckle electrical connectors (x2), and then release the harness clips (x2).
  3. Remove and discard the bolt that attaches the 2nd row center/RH buckle to the vehicle, and then remove the buckle from the vehicle.
    40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 15 mm socket

Install

  1. Position the 2nd row center/RH buckle into the vehicle, and then install a new bolt that attaches the buckle to the vehicle.
    40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 15 mm socket
  2. Connect the 2nd row center/RH buckle electrical connectors (x2), and then secure the harness clips (x2).
  3. Install the rear wall lower trim. See Trim - Lower - Rear Wall (Remove and Install).
