Cybertruck electronics are powered by a 48V "mid voltage" or "MV" architecture that is designed to improve efficiency. Servicing MV components requires extra knowledge and care in order to avoid personal and/or vehicular harm. Read and understand MV precautions in Electrical Precautions and make sure any required MV-related training courses have been completed, as applicable.

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Open the powered frunk.
  3. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install).
  4. Disconnect MV power. See Mid-Voltage Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  5. Remove the LH front beltline assembly. See Beltline Assembly - Door Panel - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  6. Remove the LH front door trim. See Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  7. Remove the LH front NVH foam. See NVH Foam - Door - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  8. Release the tabs (x4) while pushing the window switch inward from the exterior side of the door trim, and then remove the LH front window switch from the door trim.

Install

  1. Install the LH front window switch onto the door trim.

    Push the window switch outwards from the inside of the door trim to attach it.
  2. Install the LH front NVH foam. See NVH Foam - Door - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  3. Install the LH front door trim. See Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  4. Install the LH front beltline assembly. See Beltline Assembly - Door Panel - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  5. Connect MV power. See Mid-Voltage Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  6. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install).
  7. Close the powered frunk.
  8. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
