Door Striker - Rear - LH (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Open the LH rear door and lower the LH rear window.
  2. Apply masking tape to indicate the striker position.
  3. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the door striker to the vehicle, and then remove the striker from the vehicle.
    24 Nm (17.7 lbs-ft)

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T40 socket

Install

  1. Position the door striker to the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x2).
    24 Nm (17.7 lbs-ft)

    Note
    Install the bolts loosely, align the striker to the tape marks, and then tighten the bolts.

  2. Remove the masking tape and clean the area of any residue.
  3. Raise the LH rear window and close the LH rear door.
