Cybertent (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door.
  2. Lower the LH front window.
  3. On the touchscreen, touch Controls > Suspension > Low to set the vehicle ride height to Low.

    Press the brake pedal while performing this routine.
  4. Open the tonneau cover.
  5. Open the tailgate.
  6. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the Cybertent to the L2-track bracket and R2-track bracket.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Hex bit set (with tamper-proof torx)
    • Torx T25 bit
  7. With assistance, carefully slide the Cybertent towards the rear of the truck bed to disengage the tabs (x2) that attach the Cybertent to the L3-track bracket and R3-track bracket, and then remove the Cybertent from the brackets and place the Cybertent on the tailgate in an upright position.
  8. With assistance, remove the Cybertent from the vehicle and gently place the Cybertent on the ground with the strap locks (x2) and logo facing away from the truck bed.

Install

  1. With assistance, position the Cybertent on the tailgate with the strap locks (x2) and logo facing downward towards the tailgate.
  2. With assistance, carefully slide the Cybertent towards the front of the truck bed to engage the tabs (x2) that attach the Cybertent to the L3-track bracket and R3-track bracket.
  3. Install the bolts (x2) that attach the Cybertent to the L2-track bracket and R2-track bracket.
    3.5 Nm (2.6 lbs-ft)

  4. Close the tailgate.
  5. Close the tonneau cover.
  6. Raise the LH front window.
  7. Close the LH front door.
