Mud Flap - Front - LH (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Turn the steering wheel fully to the left to provide access to the working area.
  3. Remove the clips (x2) that attach the LH front mud flap to the LH front wheel arch liner.

    Remove the clips starting from right to left.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Clip pry tool

  4. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH front mud flap to the LH rocker panel, and then remove the mud flap from the vehicle.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 2 in extension
    • 10 mm deep socket
    • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver

Install

  1. Position the LH front mud flap on the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x2) that attach the mud flap to the LH rocker panel.
    1.8 Nm (1.3 lbs-ft)

    Align the bolts with the rocker panel holes.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 2 in extension
    • 10 mm deep socket
    • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
    • Torque wrench with angle measurement

  2. Install the clips (x2) that attach the LH front mud flap to the LH front wheel arch liner.

  3. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
