Remove

  1. Remove the LH and RH headlamp assemblies. See Headlamps - Headlamp Assembly - LH (Remove and Install).
  2. Release the clips (x2) that attach the harness to the front end carrier.
  3. Remove the bolts (x6) that attach the front end carrier to the vehicle, and then remove the front end carrier from the vehicle.

    Clear the datums (x4) to remove the carrier from the vehicle.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
    • 13 mm socket

Install

  1. Position the front end carrier into the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x6) that attach the front end carrier to the vehicle.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)
    30 Nm (22.1 lbs-ft)

    Position the carrier and align using the datums (x4).

    The 10 mm bolts (x6) are torqued to 5 Nm, and the 13 mm bolts (x2) are torqued to 30 Nm.

  2. Install the clips (x2) that attach the harness to the front end carrier.
  3. Install the LH and RH headlamp assemblies. See Headlamps - Headlamp Assembly - LH (Remove and Install).
