Impact and Acceleration Sensors - Door Pressure Sensor, PPS3E, A Key (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Trim - Rear Apron Assembly (Remove and Install).
- Disconnect MV power. See Disconnect MV Power.
- Remove the LH front door beltline assembly. See Front Door Trim Pad - Beltline Assembly - LH (Remove and Install).
- Remove the LH front door trim. See Front Door Trim Pad - Door Trim Front - LH (Remove and Install)

Disconnect the impact sensor
electrical connector, and then turn impact sensor counterclockwise to release it from
the door.
Install

Install the LH front door impact
sensor into the LH front door, turn the sensor clockwise to secure it, and then connect
the electrical connector.
- Reconnect MV power. See Disconnect MV Power
- Install the LH front door trim. See Front Door Trim Pad - Door Trim Front - LH (Remove and Install)
- Place the vehicle into Service Mode. See Service Mode.

On the vehicle touchscreen, navigate
to Software Reinstall > Reinstall to reinstall the software.
NoteThe installation will begin immediately.

Calibrate the LH front window.
NotePress and hold the selected window switch for 15 seconds. Raise the window and hold for 15 seconds. Test the window by hard pressing to verify the auto raise/lower functions correctly.
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
