Remove

Remove the rear view mirror beauty cover. See Rearview Mirror - Beauty Cover (Remove and Install).
NoteIt is not necessary to remove the interior camera from the beauty cover assembly.

Disconnect the electrical connector,
remove the screws (x2) that attach the relative humidity and temperature sensor to the
vehicle, and then remove the sensor from the vehicle.NoteMake sure the contact pad does not remain on the windshield.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- PH00 screwdriver
Install

Position the relative humidity and temperature sensor into the vehicle, install the
screws (x2) that attach sensor to the vehicle, and then connect the electrical
connector.NoteMake sure the contact pad is present on the circuit board.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- PH00 screwdriver
- Install the rear view mirror beauty cover. See Rearview Mirror - Beauty Cover (Remove and Install).
- Update the vehicle software, if a new sensor was installed. See Software Reinstall - Touchscreen.
