1. Raise and support vehicle
   Note

   Set air suspension to "Jack Mode"

   

   

2. Open LH front door
   Note

   Push LH B-pillar door trigger to release
3. Lower LH front window
4. Raise vehicle fully
   Note

   Set to a comfortable working height, Lower to locks, Ensure locks engage on both sides to prevent tilting

   

   

5. Remove Mid-aero shield
   Note

   6x clips, 3x bolts, 15mm, 42 Nm, 5x bolts, 13mm, 28 Nm, 2x bolts, 10mm, 6 Nm

   

   

   

   

   

6. Position oil drain underneath RDU

   

7. Remove oil fill plug from RDU
   Note

   1x plug, 8mm Allen, 15 Nm, Verify the O-ring is not damaged, Replace O-ring as needed

   

   

   

   

8. Release RH side acoustic cover from lower portion of acoustic cover
   Note

   3x clips

   

9. Release RH side acoustic cover from drive unit assembly
   Note

   2x clips

   

   

   

10. Set up fill kit with KAF1
    Note

    Add extra oil to container as it will prevent underfill and additional air being injected. Only use KAF1 fluid, Do not interchange or mix oil types

    

11. Position oil pump hose into fill hole

    

    

12. Pump fluid into rear drive unit
    Note

    Pump fluid into drive unit until fluid spills out. Use excess gearbox fluid in fill container to allow oil pump to dispense fluid without drawing air

    

    

    

13. Remove oil pump hose from fill port
    Note

    Turn knob to off and remove from fill hole

    

    

14. Spray area with brake cleaner and wipe any residual fluid

    

    

15. Secure RH side acoustic cover onto FDU
    Note

    2x clips, Route cover between subframe and axle

    

    

    

    

    

16. Secure oil fill plug onto RDU
    Note

    1x plug, 8mm Allen, 15 Nm, Verify the O-ring is not damaged, Replace O-ring as needed

    

    

    

17. Remove oil drain from underneath vehicle

    

18. Install Mid-aero shield
    Note

    6x clips, 3x bolts, 15mm, 42 Nm, 5x bolts, 13mm, 28 Nm, 2x bolts, 10mm, 6 Nm, Apply Loctite 222 onto mid aeroshield bolts and install fasteners

    

    

    

    

    

    

19. Lower vehicle fully
    Note

    Raise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered

    

    

20. Remove vehicle from lift
    Note

    Lower rack arms fully and remove them from under vehicle, Remove air suspension from "Jack Mode"

    

    

21. Raise LH front window
22. Close LH front door
