Air Suspension Pressure Lines - Left Airline Bundle (Remove and Install)

Remove
- Remove the High Voltage (HV) battery. See High Voltage Battery Assembly - HV Battery, Long, 4680, Center (Remove and Install).
- Remove the LH rear fore fender flare. See Front and Rear Garnish - Rear Fender Flare Fore - LH (Remove and Install).
- Remove the LH rear aft fender flare. See Front and Rear Garnish - Rear Fender Flare Aft - LH (Remove and Install).
- Remove the LH rear wheel arch liner. See Wheel Arch Liners - Rear Wheel Liner - LH (Remove and Install).
- Remove the LH front wheel arch liner. See Wheel Arch Liners - Front Wheel Liner - LH (Remove and Replace).

Disconnect LH front air line, and then
remove and discard the VOSS fitting once disconnected.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 14 mm 12-point combination wrench

Release the clips (x4) that attach the
front portion of the LH airline bundle to the body.

Release the clips (x8) that attach the
mid portion of the LH airline bundle to the body.
- Lower vehicle partially. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.

Release the remaining clips (x7) that
attach the LH airline bundle to the body.

Disconnect the LH airline bundle using
the air line removal tool (1706517-00-A), and then remove the bundle from the vehicle.
Discard the airline fittings after removal.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm 12-point combination wrench
- 14 mm 12-point combination wrench

Install

Position the LH airline bundle into
the vehicle, and then connect the rear airline connections to the air suspension valve
block, the air reservoir, and the compressor.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
- 14 mm flare nut crowfoot socket
Notetorque: 3.5 Nm (10mm); 8 Nm (14 mm)NoteInstall new airline VOSS fittings (x5).NoteRemove the plastic caps from the VOSS fittings, and then press the air lines into the fitting until the mark aligns with the top of the fitting. Verify the air line is properly secured by performing push-pull test. -
Fasten the clips (x7) that attach the
rear section of the LH airline bundle.
- Raise vehicle partially. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.

Fasten the clips (x8) that attach the
mid portion of the airline bundle.

Fasten the clips (x4) that attach the
LH front portion of the airline bundle.

Install the LH front air line.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 14 mm flare nut crowfoot socket
NoteInstall a new VOSS fitting supplied with the air spring module.NoteRemove the plastic cap from the VOSS fitting, and then press the air line into the fitting until the mark aligns with the top of the fitting. Verify the air line is properly secured by performing a push-pull test. - Install the LH front wheel arch liner. See Wheel Arch Liners - Front Wheel Liner - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the LH rear wheel arch liner. See Wheel Arch Liners - Rear Wheel Liner - LH (Remove and Install).
- Install the LH rear fore fender flare. See Front and Rear Garnish - Rear Fender Flare Fore - LH (Remove and Install).
- Install the LH rear aft fender flare. See Front and Rear Garnish - Rear Fender Flare Aft - LH (Remove and Install).
- Install the High Voltage (HV) battery. See High Voltage Battery Assembly - HV Battery, Long, 4680, Center (Remove and Install).
- Refill the air suspension reservoir. See Air Suspension - Pressurize / Depressurize - Full System.
