Remove

  1. Remove the LH B-pillar applique. See Applique - B-Pillar - LH (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the screws (x2) that attach the LH B-pillar trinity camera to the B-pillar applique, and then remove the camera from the applique.
    0.8 Nm (7 lbs-in)

    Make sure the O-ring is not damaged during removal.

Install

  1. Position the LH B-pillar trinity camera to the B-pillar applique, and then install the screws (x2) that attach the camera to the applique.
    0.8 Nm (7 lbs-in)

    CAUTION
    Make sure the O-ring is not damaged during installation.

    • Torx T8 bit
  2. Install the LH B-pillar applique. See Applique - B-Pillar - LH (Remove and Install).
  3. Place the vehicle into Service Mode via the UI. See Service Mode.
  4. Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).
  5. In Service Mode, navigate to Driver Assist > Cameras > Clear Camera Calibration > Camera Input > ForwardFacing, and then touch Run, to clear camera calibration.
  6. Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
  7. In Toolbox, click the Actions tab, and then search for "Calibration Mode".
  8. Click DAS Enter Calibration Mode, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
  9. In Toolbox, click the Actions tab, and then search for "B-Pillar".
  10. Click PING-HTTP_DAS_L_B-PILLAR-CAMERA-SCRIPTvia Toolbox:(link), click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
  11. Disconnect Toolbox and remove the laptop from the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
  12. Exit Service mode. See Service Mode.
  13. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
