Air Suspension Compressor and Reservoir - Inlet Airline (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Put the vehicle in Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  3. Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).
  4. Fully depressurize the air suspension. See Air Suspension - Pressurize / Depressurize - Full System.
  5. Open the tonneau cover.
  6. Open the tailgate.
  7. Remove the bed floor assembly. See Truck Bed - Bed Floor Assembly (Remove and Install).
  8. Remove the air suspension compressor carrier bracket, and then move the bracket aside to access the airline inlet fittings. See Air Suspension Compressor and Reservoir - Carrier Bracket - Air Suspension Compressor (Remove and Install).
  9. Disconnect the VOSS fitting, and then remove the airline inlet from the compressor.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 12 mm 12 point combination wrench

    Note
    Discard the airline fitting after removal.
  10. Disconnect the VOSS fitting, and then remove the airline inlet from the valve block.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 12 mm 12-point combination wrench

    Discard the airline fitting after removal.

Install

  1. Install the airline inlet to the valve block.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 12 mm 12-point deep socket

    x1 VOSS fitting

    Install new VOSS fitting.

    Remove the white plug when the airline is ready to be installed.

    Note
    Fully insert the airline into fitting. It should sit between the two white marks on the airline. Verify the airline is properly seated by performing a push-pull test.
  2. Install the air suspension inlet airline to the compressor.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 12 mm 12-point deep socket

    x1 VOSS fitting

    Install new VOSS fitting.

    Remove the white plug when the airline is ready to be installed.

    Note
    Fully insert the airline into fitting. It should sit between the two white marks on the airline. Verify the airline is properly seated by performing a push-pull test.
  3. Reposition the air suspension bracket.
  4. Install the air suspension compressor carrier bracket. See Air Suspension Compressor and Reservoir - Carrier Bracket - Air Suspension Compressor (Remove and Install).
  5. Install the bed floor assembly. See Truck Bed - Bed Floor Assembly (Remove and Install).
  6. Close the tonneau cover.
  7. Close the tailgate.
  8. Refill the air suspension with nitrogen. See Air Suspension - Pressurize / Depressurize - Full System.
  9. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
