Exterior Trim Fittings - B-Pillar Applique - LH (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Open the LH doors and lower the LH front window.
  2. Partially release the LH front door primary seal.
  3. Partially release the LH rear door primary seal.
  4. Remove the LH B-pillar applique closeout. See Exterior Trim Fittings - Closeout - LH (Remove and Install).
  5. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH B-pillar applique to the B-pillar.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  6. Release the clips (x3) that attach the LH B-pillar applique to the vehicle, slide the applique downward to release it from the B-pillar, and then disconnect the BLE endpoint and camera electrical connectors (x2).

    Note
    Release the connector locks before disconnecting the connectors.

Install

  1. Position the LH B-pillar applique onto the vehicle, connect the BLE endpoint and camera electrical connectors (x2) and engage the connector locks, slide the applique upward and inward into position, and then secure the clips (x3) that attach the applique to the B-pillar.
  2. Install the bolt that attaches the LH B-pillar applique to the B-pillar.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)

  3. Install the LH B-pillar applique closeout. See Exterior Trim Fittings - Closeout - LH (Remove and Install).
  4. Install the LH rear door primary seal.
  5. Install the LH front door primary seal.
  6. Close the LH doors and raise the LH front window.
