Remove

  1. Remove the tailgate assembly. See Tailgate Assembly (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the RH body side tailgate hinge to the vehicle, and then remove the hinge from the vehicle.
    75 Nm (55.3 lbs-ft)

    • 15 mm socket

Install

  1. Position the RH body side tailgate hinge into the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x2) that attach the hinge to the vehicle.
    75 Nm (55.3 lbs-ft)

    Align the bolt heads to the witness marks before tightening.
