Dash Panel - Instrument Panel Top Pad Assembly (Remove and Install)

Remove
- Remove the front passenger airbag. See Front Air Bags - MX - Passenger Airbag, NAR (Remove and Install).

Remove the bolts (x4) that attach the
instrument panel top pad to the vehicle.
NoteThe bolts are two different lengths.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 8 mm socket
- Remove the LH and RH upper A-pillar trims. See A-B-C Positivet Interior Trim - A-Pillar Upper Trim - LH (Remove and Install).

Release the clips (x12) that attach
the instrument panel top pad to the instrument panel, and then remove the top pad from
the vehicle.
NoteRelease the rear edge first, and then lift up to access forward clips.
Install

Position the instrument panel top pad
into the vehicle, and then secure the clips (x12) that attach the top pad to the
vehicle.
NoteReplace any missing or damaged clips.
- Install the LH and RH upper A-pillar trims. See A-B-C Positivet Interior Trim - A-Pillar Upper Trim - LH (Remove and Install).
- Install the front header trim. See Headliner Trim - Front Header Trim (Remove and Install).

Install the bolts (x4) that attach the
instrument panel top pad to the vehicle.NoteThe longer bolts are located in rearmost positions.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 8 mm socket
- Install the front passenger airbag. See Front Air Bags - MX - Passenger Airbag, NAR (Remove and Install).
