Impact and Acceleration Sensors - 480G Impact Sensor, Dual Axis, Through Bolt (Remove and Install)

Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Open the LH rear door and lower the LH rear window.
- Place the vehicle into Service Mode. See Service Mode.
- Disconnect MV power. See Disconnect MV Power.
- Remove the lower B-pillar trim. See A-B-C Post Interior Trim - B-Pillar Lower Trim - LH (Remove and Install).

Remove the bolt that attaches the
B-pillar impact sensor to the B-pillar, disconnect the electrical connector, and then
remove the sensor from the vehicle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket
Install

Position the B-pillar impact sensor to the B-pillar, connect the electrical
connector, and then install the bolt that attaches the sensor to the vehicle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket
- Install the lower B-pillar trim. See A-B-C Post Interior Trim - B-Pillar Lower Trim - LH (Remove and Install).
- Reconnect MV power. See Disconnect MV Power.
- Install the LH lower A-pillar trim. See A-B-C Post Interior Trim - A-Pillar Lower Trim - LH (Remove and Install).
- Install the LH mid A-pillar trim. See A-B-C Post Interior Trim - A-Pillar Mid Trim - LH (Remove and Install).
- Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
