ABS Module and ESC Sensor - Wheel Speed Sensor - Front - LH (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  3. Remove the LH front wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  4. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH front wheel speed sensor to the LH front knuckle, disconnect the electrical connector, and then remove the sensor from the vehicle.
    8 Nm (5.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T30 socket

Install

  1. Position the LH front wheel speed sensor to the LH front knuckle, connect the electrical connector, and then install the bolt that attaches the sensor to the knuckle.
    8 Nm (5.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T30 socket
  2. Install the LH front wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  3. Remove the vehicle from the lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  4. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
