Front and Rear Door Glass Regulator - Window Regulator, 48V Q-Motor (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Place the vehicle into Service Mode via the UI. See Service Mode.
  3. Remove the LH front door beltline assembly. See Front Door Trim Pad - Beltline Assembly - LH (Remove and Install).
  4. Remove the LH front door trim. See Front Door Trim Pad - Door Trim Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  5. Connect an external window switch tool to the LH front door.
  6. Use a pocket screwdriver to manually latch the LH front door.
  7. Raise the LH front window.
  8. Disconnect MV power. See Disconnect MV Power.
  9. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the LH front door window regulator motor to the door assembly, release the connector lock and disconnect the electrical connector, and then remove the motor from the vehicle.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket

Install

  1. Position the LH front door window regulator motor to the door assembly, connect the electrical connector and engage the connector lock, and then install the bolts (x3) that attach the motor to the vehicle.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket
  2. Reconnect MV power. See Disconnect MV Power.
  3. Pull the manual release cable away from the vehicle to unlatch the LH front door.
  4. Install the LH front door trim. See Front Door Trim Pad - Door Trim Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  5. Install the LH front door beltline assembly. See Front Door Trim Pad - Beltline Assembly - LH (Remove and Install).
  6. Calibrate window

    Note
    Press and hold down selected window for 15 seconds. Roll up window and hold for 15 seconds. Test window by hard pressing to see if auto roll function works.
  7. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
