Remove
- Remove the tailgate inner cover. See Truck Bed - Tailgate Inner Cover (Remove and Install).
- Remove the tailgate lamp. See Tail Lights - Tailgate Lamp (Remove and Install).

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the
rear camera bracket assembly to the vehicle, and then remove the bracket from the

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the
rear camera to the bracket, and then remove the camera from the bracket.0.7 Nm (6 lbs-in)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:

Install

Position the rear camera onto the bracket, and then install the bolts (x2) that
attach the camera to the bracket.0.7 Nm (6 lbs-in)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:

Position the rear camera bracket assembly to the vehicle, and then install the bolts
(x2) that attach the bracket to the vehicle.0.7 Nm (6 lbs-in)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:

- Install the tailgate lamp. See Tail Lights - Tailgate Lamp (Remove and Install).
- Install the tailgate inner cover. See Truck Bed - Tailgate Inner Cover (Remove and Install).
- Connect a laptop with Toolbox to the vehicle to unlock the vehicle gateway and enable Service Mode. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
- On the vehicle touchscreen, navigate to Driver Assist > Cameras > Reset DAS to clear camera calibration.

HW4 cameras only: Run the camera connection test to update the new camera's firmware.
NoteDAS Cameras are not CAN modules and cannot be updated via firmware reinstall or "Part Replacement Deploy".
- Disconnect the laptop from the vehicle and exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
