Bed Outlet Assembly (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Place the vehicle into Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  3. Open the tailgate.
  4. Open the tonneau cover.
  5. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install).
  6. Disconnect MV power. See Mid-Voltage Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  7. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the bed outlet assembly to the vehicle, and then release the outlet from the vehicle.
    1.5 Nm (1.1 lbs-ft)

    • T25R socket
  8. Remove the bolt that attaches the bed outlet assembly to the vehicle, and then release the connector locks and disconnect the electrical connectors (x3).
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)

    • 10 mm socket

Install

  1. Position the bed outlet assembly to the vehicle, install the bolt, and then connect the electrical connectors (x3) and secure the connector locks.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)

    • 10 mm socket
  2. Install the bed outlet assembly into the vehicle, install the bolts (x2) that attach the outlet to the vehicle, and then close the outlet door.
    1.5 Nm (1.1 lbs-ft)

  3. Reconnect MV power. See Mid-Voltage Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  4. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install).
  5. Close the tonneau cover.
  6. Close the tailgate.
  7. Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  8. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
