1. Remove the wheel assembly. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
2. Place wheel and tire on tire machine and secure
   Note

   1x wheel clamp

   

   

3. Remove valve stem cap
   Note

   1x cap

   

   

4. Remove valve stem core
   Note

   Exercise caution as tire rapidly deflates, wear appropriate PPE

   

   

5. Rotate wheel and tire so that upper roller is ~100mm in front of the valve stem
   Note

   Failure to properly position valve stem can result in TPMS damage

   

6. Break tire beads
   Note

   Lubricate as required

   

   

   

7. Remove tire from wheel
   Note

   Make sure to position the TPMS sensor ahead of the tire machine arm

   

   

   

   

   

   

8. Remove wheel from tire changer
   Note

   1x clamp

   

9. Install valve stem
   Note

   1x rubber valve stem, Insert from underneath, Pull up with installation tool until seated, Tire shown removed for clarity

   

   

10. Install wheel onto tire changer
    Note

    1x clamp

    

11. Thoroughly lubricate both tire beads then position for installation
    Note

    Make sure to position the TPMS sensor opposite the tire machine arm, Ensure wheel cover design side of tire is facing outwards

    

    

    

12. Install tire to wheel
    Note

    Use caution to avoid damage to beads, Apply additional lubricant as required

    

    

    

    

    

13. Inflate the tire to seat beads
    Note

    Do not exceed the pressure indicated on the tire sidewall, Wear PPE, Ensure inside and outside beads are seated

    

    

14. Install valve core stem
    Note

    Hand tight only, Do not overtighten

    

    

15. Remove wheel and tire from tire changer
    Note

    1x clamp

    

    

16. Install tire and wheel assembly onto balancer
    Note

    1x 6-lug wheel flange, Position wheel onto spindle shaft then secure wheel using flange, If 6-lug wheel flange unavailable use 216mm Blue Hunter centering cone adapter

    

    

    

    

17. Remove wheel weights
    Note

    1x tape weight, 1x hammer-on weight

    

    

18. Verify tire pressure is set
    Note

    Set to specification, Refer to "Tire and Loading Information" label located on driver side B-pillar, Install valve stem cap

    

    

    

19. Input wheel dimensions into balancer machine
    Note

    If machine does not require manual input then skip this step

    

20. Perform road force wheel balance
    Note

    Follow machine instructions, Safety hood must be down to start balancing, Make sure load roller engages

    

21. Record road force wheel balance results
    Note

    If road force is within limit then skip to install wheel weights, If road force is outside limit then proceed to force match

    

22. Perform tire and wheel force match
    Note

    Measure run out then mark tire and rim for reference points, Use machine to determine points to match on tire and wheel

    

    

    

23. Remove tire and wheel assembly from balancer
    Note

    1x 6-lug wheel flange, Remove flange then remove wheel from spindle shaft

    

24. Install tire and wheel assembly onto tire machine
    Note

    1x wheel clamp, Position wheel onto wheel support then secure wheel using clamp

    

25. Remove valve stem cap
    Note

    1x cap

    

    

26. Remove valve stem core
    Note

    Exercise caution as tire rapidly deflates, Wear appropriate PPE

    

27. Break tire beads
    Note

    Use lubrication around tire and wheel, Break top and bottom bead

    

    

28. Remove tire from wheel
    Note

    Make sure to position TPMS sensor ahead of tire machine arm

    

    

    

29. Install tire onto wheel matching previously marked points from balancer
    Note

    Rotate tire to align with previously marked reference points

    

    

    

30. Inflate tire to seat beads
    Note

    Recommend assistance, Lift tire while inflating, Do not exceed pressure indicated on tire sidewall

    

31. Install valve stem core
    Note

    Exercise caution as tire rapidly deflates, Wear appropriate PPE

    

32. Remove tire and wheel assembly from tire machine
    Note

    1x wheel clamp, Remove clamp then remove wheel from wheel support

    

    

33. Install tire and wheel assembly onto balancer
    Note

    1x 6-lug wheel flange, Position wheel onto spindle shaft then secure wheel using flange, If 6-lug wheel flange unavailable use 216mm Blue Hunter centering cone adapter

    

    

    

    

34. Verify tire pressure is set

38. Perform check spin
    Note

    Follow machine instructions, Safety hood must be down to start balancing, Make sure load roller engages

    

    

    

39. Remove tire and wheel assembly from balancer
    Note

    1x 6-lug wheel flange, Remove flange then remove wheel from spindle shaft

    

40. Install the wheel assembly. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
41. Perform indirect TPMS calibration (Placeholder)
42. Road test vehicle - need to drive over 20 MPH to complete TPMS learn
