-
Remove valve stem core
NoteExercise caution as tire rapidly deflates, wear appropriate PPE
-
Rotate wheel and tire so that upper roller is ~100mm in front of the valve stem
NoteFailure to properly position valve stem can result in TPMS damage
-
Break tire beads
NoteLubricate as required
-
Remove tire from wheel
NoteMake sure to position the TPMS sensor ahead of the tire machine arm
-
Remove wheel from tire changer
Note1x clamp
-
Install valve stem

Note1x tape weight, 1x hammer-on weight
-
Verify tire pressure is set
NoteSet to specification, Refer to "Tire and Loading Information" label located on driver side B-pillar, Install valve stem cap
-
Input wheel dimensions into balancer machine
NoteIf machine does not require manual input then skip this step
-
Perform road force wheel balance
NoteFollow machine instructions, Safety hood must be down to start balancing, Make sure load roller engages
-
Record road force wheel balance results
NoteIf road force is within limit then skip to install wheel weights, If road force is outside limit then proceed to force match
-
Perform tire and wheel force match
NoteMeasure run out then mark tire and rim for reference points, Use machine to determine points to match on tire and wheel
-
Remove tire and wheel assembly from balancer
Note1x 6-lug wheel flange, Remove flange then remove wheel from spindle shaft
-
Install tire and wheel assembly onto tire machine
Note1x wheel clamp, Position wheel onto wheel support then secure wheel using clamp

NoteExercise caution as tire rapidly deflates, Wear appropriate PPE
-
Break tire beads
NoteUse lubrication around tire and wheel, Break top and bottom bead
-
Remove tire from wheel
NoteMake sure to position TPMS sensor ahead of tire machine arm
-
Install tire onto wheel matching previously marked points from balancer
NoteRotate tire to align with previously marked reference points
-
Inflate tire to seat beads
NoteRecommend assistance, Lift tire while inflating, Do not exceed pressure indicated on tire sidewall
