  • 2025-05-27: Released new procedure.
  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
  3. Select "Actions" and search for "NFC Card"
  4. Select "PROC_VCSEC_C_PAIR-NFC-CARD"
  5. Input number of keys to be paired to vehicle then select "Run"

    Single or multiple keycards may be programmed, Select "X" at top right of window to close once complete
  6. Place NFC card(s) on on left side of phone dock

  7. Verify new key is paired via UI

    Via UI > Controls > Locks > Keys
  8. Check function of programmed NFC keys

    Tap driver side exterior B-pillar area to lock/unlock vehicle, Tap left side of phone dock to start vehicle
  9. Disconnect Toolbox 3 and remove the laptop from the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
  10. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
