Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  3. Remove the LH front wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  4. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH front brake hose bracket to the knuckle, and then release the bracket from the knuckle.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
  5. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH front caliper to the knuckle, and then use an S-hook hang the caliper aside.
    315 Nm (232.3 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 24 mm socket
  6. Remove the LH front brake rotor from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Position the LH front brake rotor onto the vehicle.

    Note
    The rotor will be loose until the caliper is installed.
  2. With assistance, position the LH front caliper to the knuckle, and then install the bolts (x2) that attach the caliper to the knuckle.
    315 Nm (232.3 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 24 mm socket
  3. Position the LH front brake hose bracket to the knuckle, and then install the bolt that attaches the bracket to the knuckle.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
  4. Install the LH front wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  5. Remove the vehicle from the lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  6. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
