Cybertruck electronics are powered by a 48V "mid voltage" or "MV" architecture that is designed to improve efficiency. Servicing MV components requires extra knowledge and care in order to avoid personal and/or vehicular harm.   2. Set up Snap-On AC machine

  3. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  4. Run ODIN routine PROC_ICE_X_ENTER-SERVICE-MODEvia Toolbox:(link)
  5. Unlock the vehicle Gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).
  6. Navigate to Refrigerant System through UI

  7. Select "Start Thermal Fill Drain (Coolant and Refrigerant)" through UI

  8. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Install).
  9. Disconnect MV power. See Mid-Voltage Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  10. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  11. Raise vehicle fully and lower lift onto locks

    Set vehicle to comfortable working height, Ensure an audible click of locks on both sides is heard before lowering, Vehicle may tilt to the side if both locks are not engaged
  12. Remove the rear skid plate. See Skid Plate - Rear (Remove and Install).
  13. Remove all items from pockets and ensure not wearing metal items
  14. Inspect HV insulating gloves

  15. Put on HV insulating gloves and leather over gloves

    Use HV cut resistant insulated gloves or HV insulating gloves and leather over gloves, HV Insulating gloves must be worn any time a Hioki Tester or Hi-Pot Tester is used, Refer to service document TN-15-92-003 R5 for PPE requirements depending on vehicle configuration.
  16. Verify no HV - Install amp clamp to RDU HV harness

    Verify meter is zeroed out before performing measurement, Measure single cable. Verify ammeter is installed in correct direction. If current > 0.5A do not proceed with disconnecting HV connector. In this case, start vehicle electrical isolation again to make sure that all was properly shut down. Escalate for assistance as requiredIf current < 0.5A, Ok to disconnect and check voltage at HV plug on the battery side.Release locking tab and rotate the release lever up to disengage the connector, Release harness clip, Do not force the release lever up, Ensure the alignment tabs on the RDU header are not damagedMake sure to wear PPE (HV gloves, safety glasses) when working on high voltage component, Measure B+ to Ground, B- to Ground, B+ to B-, If voltage is greater than 10V, Pack contactors are not open or welded, Stop work and reach out to Service Engineering
  17. Secure RDU header connector to ancillary

  18. Remove leather over gloves and HV insulating gloves

  21. Place coolant catcher below RH front of vehicle
  22. Lower vehicle until tires are touching the ground

  29. Remove bolts securing supermanifold

    2x bolts, 15mm, 33 Nm, Break free then remove by hand to avoid tool jamming, Support manifold from underneath, Lower Supermanifold until resting on HVAC case
  30. Disconnect the powertrain bypass hose, radiator outlet hose, radiator inlet hose from the Supermanifold

  39. Release refrigerant suction and discharge lines from compressor

  78. Slowly open the refill valve to allow coolant to be drawn into the system
