  • 2026-01-21: Released new procedure.
  1. Remove the powergate latch. See Latch - Hood (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove release actuator
    Note
    3x bolts, 10mm, 6nm,1x connector, 1x clip, release connector tab then press and hold tab to release connector, Release 1 clip that attaches the release cable to front bumper beam,
  3. Install hood release actuator
    Note
    3x bolts, 10mm, 6nm 1x connector, 1x clip, install hood release actuator, reconnect low voltage connector, reattach the clip from release cable to the bumper beam,
  4. Install the powergate latch. See Latch - Hood (Remove and Replace).
