Remove

  1. Open the tonneau cover.
  2. Open the tailgate.
  3. Remove the bed cargo tub lid strut. See Strut - Bed Cargo Tub (Remove and Install).
  4. With assistance, remove the bolts (x4) that attach the bed cargo tub lid to the vehicle, and then remove the tub lid from the vehicle.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)

    • 10 mm socket

Install

  1. With assistance, position the bed cargo tub lid into the vehicle, and then install and hand-tighten the bolts (x4) that attach the tub lid to the vehicle.

  2. Install the bed cargo tub lid strut. See Strut - Bed Cargo Tub (Remove and Install).
  3. Remove the support from the bed cargo tub lid.
  4. Close the bed cargo tub lid.
  5. Verify gap and flush between the cargo lid and bed is within specification and adjust as needed.

  6. Open the bed cargo tub lid.
  7. Torque the bolts (x4) that attach the tub lid to the vehicle.

  8. Close the bed cargo tub lid.
  9. Close the tonneau cover.
  10. Close the tailgate.
