Remove

  1. Remove the LH rear bed closeout. See Truck Bed - Rear Bed Closeout - LH (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the bolt and nut that attaches the forged bed tiedown to the vehicle, and then remove it from the vehicle.
    36 Nm (26.5 lbs-ft)
    7 Nm (5.2 lbs-ft)

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 13 mm socket
    • 10 mm socket

Install

  1. Position the forged bed tiedown to the vehicle, and then install the bolt and nut that attaches the tiedown to the vehicle.
    36 Nm (26.5 lbs-ft)
    7 Nm (5.2 lbs-ft)
